Cedar Woods - Millars Landing Sports Carnival Event

Cedar Woods hosted a fantastic sports carnival event at their Millars Landing suburb development. The event hosted dozens of families, with their kids all participating in various activities while the adults got to sit back and enjoy their evening.
Task
Cedar Woods asked us to produce this highlight video for this event. The goal for this project was to capture the community orientated atmosphere, the diversity of the neighbourhood, and how friendly of an atmosphere Millars Landing has.
In conjunction with this video, we also produced three testimonial videos interviewing a few couples that have bought land at Millars Landing – asking them why they chose to build here, and what they are most excited about once their homes are complete.
Approach
For this project, we wanted to bring out that warmth and friendly and community orientated atmosphere that Millars Landing has as soon as you enter the suburb. It was extremely helpful that the event was later on in the afternoon, so the lighting was exceptional!
Capturing close ups of the kids enjoying themselves throughout the various activities helped show how fun the event was. Capturing the various inclusions such as the complimentary drinks and the food truck, meant the adults were having almost as much fun as the kids.
We used the drone to help capture the scale of the neighbourhood, and show off the state of development for Cedar Woods’ stakeholders.
Result
As usual when collaborating with Cedar Woods, we had such a fantastic time and are incredibly pleased with how this video turned out! We think it captures the atmosphere of Millars Landing perfectly – a safe, clean, and friendly suburb with a huge emphasis on community.
